Viola Grace (Yeager) Green, 95, of Cameron, Missouri, passed away March 11, 2017. Family services will be held at a later date. Viola was born August 24, 1921 in Kansas City, Kansas to Earl and Pauline Yeager. Growing up, she helped her family on the farm. Viola attended Wyandotte High School and worked at J.C. Penney's for many years in sales. She married James H. "Jim" Green on December 26, 1945. Viola was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Parkville Ward, and was a member of the Relief Society...

Viola Grace (Yeager) Green, 95, of Cameron, Missouri, passed away March 11, 2017. Family services will be held at a later date. Viola was born August 24, 1921 in Kansas City, Kansas to Earl and Pauline Yeager. Growing up, she helped her family on the farm. Viola attended Wyandotte High School and worked at J.C. Penney's for many years in sales. She married James H. "Jim" Green on December 26, 1945. Viola was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Parkville Ward, and was a member of the Relief Society and taught Sunday School. She taught others how to do genealogy for ten years and enjoyed quilting and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Green; her sister, Edith Reynolds; and her brother, Elmer Yeager.
Viola is survived by her children, Raymond (Green) Carey and his wife Jenna of the Villages, Florida, and Sandy Fortune of Savannah, GA; her grandchildren, Sean Carey and his wife Julie of Denver, Ryan Carey of Overland Park, Brandy Carey (David Leonard) of Auburn, CA, Lorie Fortune-Mathews of KCMO, Kiley Middlemas and her husband Chad of Savannah, GA, Jamie Rech and her husband Chris of Alpharetta, GA; her brother, Bill Yeager of Raymore, MO; as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to Comfort Care Hospice, 1005 West 3rd, Suite 4, Cameron, MO 64429, to thank them for their excellent and compassionate care.
